Backed by over 50 years of expertise, we excel at transforming design concepts into stunning realities. Our advanced production methods - including Rotogravure, Silk Screen, and Digital printing - allow us to deliver your desired finish and meet your budget needs, whether it’s a simple color modification of an existing design or a fully original, intricate pattern. Command provides a broad spectrum of customization options, from specialized surface treatments such as wash coats, tip prints, Mylars, and sparkle finishes, to a diverse selection of embossing textures. This flexibility ensures each project is uniquely tailored to enhance your space with distinctive style and lasting quality.
Strike Off
Our Strike Off Division plays a vital role in our business, providing the flexibility to modify the color of an existing Command design or collaborate with our specialist team to develop entirely new designs. Using our extensive and unmatched library of print and embossing rollers, we offer a fully customizable experience.
When a sample is submitted for customization, our team works diligently to produce an A4-sized strike off — a printed and embossed wallcovering sample that reflects the desired color, pattern, and texture of the final product. This ensures that you can confidently approve the design before proceeding with the main production run.
Gravure
Gravure printing, also known as rotogravure, is the preferred technique for the majority of the Command collection. This process uses a rotary press with an engraved cylinder to transfer detailed designs and patterns directly onto the wallcovering surface. Known for its precision and ability to reproduce intricate artwork with tonal depth and subtle color variation, gravure printing is fast, efficient, and cost-effective—delivering a rich, consistent, and visually striking finish.
Screen
Originating in China during the Song Dynasty (960–1279 AD), screen printing is a specialized technique that uses a stencil and a mesh silk screen to transfer ink onto the wallcovering surface. What sets silk screen printing apart from other methods is its ability to incorporate metallic, raised, or textured inks—producing exceptionally dense, vibrant, and durable results. This technique delivers a distinctive visual and tactile quality that cannot be easily replicated by digital or gravure printing processes.
Digital
Digital printing has transformed commercial wallcoverings, enabling high-resolution, full-color designs on materials such as vinyl and specialty substrates. It allows for custom imagery, precise color matching, and quick turnaround—ideal for branding, murals, and bespoke interiors across hospitality, corporate, healthcare, and retail settings.
Unlike traditional methods, digital printing supports short runs, reduces waste, and offers enhanced design flexibility—making it a sustainable, efficient, and visually impactful solution for today’s commercial environments. Command Digital is fully certified to ASTM E84 and NSF/ANSI 332, with full IMO certification available upon request.
