The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree and will have experience in the Architecture and Interior Design industry and/or Outside Product Sales. A Territory Sales Representative conducts business out in the field via face-to-face interactions with both potential and existing customers. Territory Sales Representatives are responsible for client assessment, consultation, product education and solution recommendation(s). This person is a subject matter expert who can position Dundas Matheson products and services to best address the needs of the customer, to secure an order, and ultimately to create repeat business.
Primary Objective:
- To earn specifications, manage orders, and serve customers
- To open and increase market share
- To promote Dundas Matheson in a positive light
List of Major Responsibilities - Arizona
- Sales representative for 200 sales calls (includes but not limited to: A+Ds, PMs, GCs, & End Users)
- Prepare presentation samples for daily sales calls
- Book appointments for sales calls and plan weekly schedule
- Make daily sales calls, present new products and update resource libraries
- Consult with customers on active projects at all stages – including completion.
- Maintain accurate client, sample and library database.
- Deliver and present all samples to clients
- Produce timely price quotes, written estimations and email communications
- Attend at job sites to accurately measure and then produce “take off’s as needed
- Answer questions and provide technical, installation information etc
- Monitor projects, maintain accurate records of prices quoted and follow up with quote recipients after the closing date.
- Attend the job site when there is an installation problem, defective product or customer complaint.
- Resolve customer complaints. When required, collaborate with team to develop the best strategy for resolution.
- Investigate and follow up on all sales leads.
- Behave with honesty and integrity in all interactions, internally and customer facing.
- Promote the Dundas Matheson brand, values and mission in all interactions.

We are looking for a talented and motivated Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative, who will be exposed to a number of different business functions. They will gain experience in Customer Service, Project Coordination, Order desk/processing, Sales, Marketing, Shipping, Credit, Accounting and much more.
You will start as an inside sales position in direct contact with our customers, dealing with orders, quotes, claims, samples, shipping, fielding product support inquiries, and all customer service. You will also assist our outside Sales Representatives and may also work on a variety of projects, assisting the rest of the Team.
This position has potential growth into an Outside Sales or Marketing position and will help you learn all aspects of how our business works. This is a fast-paced position and is very important to the success of the company!
